3 Month Weigh In – Goal 1

Happy Sunday!

Today is the first of my quarterly weigh-ins. We all knew I wasn’t going to hit my goal, but I’m still posting about it to stay accountable.

Goal weight: 209.5 Pounds
Weight: 225 Pounds
Difference: +15.5 Pounds

Voila, a stone too heavy. Even though I didn’t hit my goal, I do feel like I achieved something in the past 3 months…

3 Month Summary
Start weight: 227 pounds
Heaviest Weight: 234 pounds
End weight: 225 pounds

Jan-March: 2 pounds lost
Heaviest weight-March: 7 pounds lost

It doesn’t sound like much, but it’s good to be losing weight overall rather than gaining! I considered changing the next goal as I didn’t make this one, but I think for now I’m going to leave it as it is, and if I don’t reach the next one I’ll rethink the remaining goals afterwards.

Speaking of which…

Next goal:
28.06.15: 199 Pounds
26 pounds to lose in 3 months. 8.7 pounds per month, ~2 pounds per week.

Now to get cracking on this with some meal planning!

Weigh in Wednesday

It’s here! The post you all wait for with bated breath. I’m joking!

Today I’m going to do a round up of my progress so far as well as my usual weigh in. It was pointed out to me recently that my posts make it seem as if I’m not making any progress…sooo I’m going to lay it all out as well as reestablish my goals.

Weigh in
Last week: 231 pounds (water weight! )
This week: 227 pounds
Next week: 226 pounds

Progress
Highest weight: 234 pounds – recorded just after Ben Nevis
Progress: – 7 pounds

This may not seem a lot for the amount of time, but it’s definitely an improvement on dancing around the same few pounds all the time.

Goals:
At the beginning of the year I set a new years resolution to lose 2 stone (28 pounds) by July. Obviously, that hasn’t happened. I’m now aiming to loose a minimum of 28 pounds by the end of the year. So far, I’ve lost 7 pounds of that, leaving 21 pounds to go. This is achievable!

End of year goal: 206 pounds
Summer 2015 goal: 178 pounds – a further 28 pounds

Ultimate Goal: 130 pounds
This may change when I get there, depending on what I feel healthiest at and whether I feel like I need to loose more.

This week’s updates
Food:
I’ve been pretty good this week. The only bad day was yesterday, when I was given a box of chocolates from my colleagues for passing my driving test. Oops. I regret nothing, and I shared! This week I need to keep up with the good foods, and throw some more fruit and veg into the mix.

Exercise:
After the success of Pretty Muddy at the weekend, I need to make sure I jump back into running this week-otherwise I’ll loose all momentum! I’ve also been considering taking part in a 6 week power lifting course at my gym. Not because I want to bulk up, but because lifting trims you down quicker than cardio alone. And who doesn’t want to be able to lift heavy things?

Life:
Positive. Feeling good. I passed my driving test yesterday which I think will up my mood for at least a week! I also managed to get a long sleep in at the weekend, though I’m still tired and behind on sleep at the moment. Work is busy, as always. I’m looking forward to the weekend, have a busy one planned!

Hope everyone has a good Wednesday!

CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.

I know i’ve been MIA for a little while, but have been a busy bee with moving house, going on holiday and whatnot..

But now I am back, and I am embarking on a competition. A competition against the MotherFigure. AKA, Mum.

The competition is to lose more weight that the other (until mum hits goal weight-thereafter she has to maintain and I have to continue to lose) and for each pound lost, £1 will go into a pot, to be spent on a nice meal out when goal is reached.

My goal: 130 pounds.  9 stone 4 pounds. 59 Kilos.

Current: 205 pounds. 14 stone 9 pounds. 93 kilos.

(incase you were wondering, yes I am aware that I have put on weight and am now heavier than when I started writing this blog)

Weigh day: MONDAY MORNINGS.

The plan: chow down on vegetables and fruit.

Stick to food plans.

Go the they gym regularly-at least 1-2 times a week.

Wish me luck….
