It’s the end of July, and I’ve not updated anything on here for a while.
I’m not sure what week of slimming world it is anymore, but I have still been going.
To date, I have lost 8 pounds. Today’s weigh-in was a maintain, which is good considering everything I’ve had going on recently.
Exercise-wise, I’ve not been to roller derby for a few weeks now, but I do intend to go back next week. I’ve also laid out a plan of things I would like to achieve physically in my bullet journal – some are small simple goals which build up to bigger ones. For example, walk 1 mile 3 times, 1.5 miles 3 times, 2 miles etc. I’m working on building up my endurance so I can do more activities without being so out of breath or tired afterwards.
Not knowing the week number is bugging me, I’m just going to go and work it out….it’s week 36 of slimming world now. I feel a bit ashamed that I’ve only lost 8 pounds in that time, well over half a year has gone by and only 8 pounds lost. I have 130 pounds left to lose to hit my goal weight, that’s over half of my current weight that needs to be banished.
Keeping track of my food is the main issue at the moment. I’ve started using MyFitnessPal again to do this and I want to keep it up.
Week 11 continued my streak of eating well and staying on plan, I was on track to lose another couple of pounds. Until we got to Friday.
I was going away for the weekend to see my family, and we had some food that needed to be eaten. Mainly bread, so my dinner consisted of a half baton with bacon and egg. And a cheese roll.
As you can guess, weigh in the next morning showed the bread-bloat and I ended up maintaining.
Next weigh-in I’m hoping to see the bread-bloat weight come off, and more. I’m aiming to get my 1 stone award this month, 5.5 pounds to go! I would like 3.5 off this week, then only 2 pounds to lose the week after, following my birthday…
I have not been successful this week. Lack of planning, too many syns, too much of everything.
Last Week: 17st 2.5lb (240.5 pounds)
This Week: 17st 6lb (244 pounds)
Sooo this sucks. I’ve been giving myself a kick up the butt, and this week I’ve done some meal planning, I’ve prepped lunch for a couple of days, and I’m making more of an effort to stick to my syns. I need to make a loss this week, no matter what!
Week 24 Goal: 17st 2lb (240 pounds)
Hoping I’ll crack this and get on track with my food. I have also signed up to some classes at my gym to increase how active I am – Pilates and Barre Fusion here I come!
I’ve been part of Slimming World for 21 weeks. I have not lost any weight because I haven’t been following the plan – at the beginning I lost weight because I did actually follow the plan, but went off track and piled it back on again.
I’m not entirely sure about the reasons behind why I stopped or why I’m finding it hard to get back into it, but I’m trying. I recently bought a beautiful food and exercise planner, in which I can plan out my meals for the week and calculate how many syns I have. Getting into the habit of filling this out everyday is important, then I can integrate the Slimming World plan, and try the recipes I’ve been collecting.
For those who aren’t counting down yet – we have 7 weeks until Christmas. In that time I want to lose the stone I lost and put back on after starting slimming world. To achieve this, I need to be aiming for losses of 2 pounds every week. It’s time to get serious and push myself back into following the plan!
Week 21 weight: 17st 0.5lb (238.5 pounds)
Week 22 goal: 16st 12.5lb (236.5 pounds)
Week 28 (boxing day) goal: 16st 0.5lb (224.5 pounds)
I forgot to post. Well, I didn’t forget, it was just difficult to blog without the internet in the flat…plus I’ve been work-busy-sleep-work-ing.
Okay, to catch up –
Week 13: 16st 9.5lb (233.5 pounds)
Week 14: Missed SW (oops, slept through my alarm) but I weighed at home: 16st 11lb (235 pounds)
Week 15: 16st 9lb (233 pounds)
Loss to Date: 2.5 pounds
To Lose for 6 week Goal: 13 pounds (By 10.10.15)
Annndd there it is. Not particularly looking forward to weigh in this Saturday, but I’ll try to keep my hopes up about it, and not eat biscuits at work!!!! (at least, don’t eat them so that I go over my syn count)
Goal for Next Weigh In: 16st 8lb (232 pounds)
First week back onto doing Slimming World for a while, and it was tough. I had fallen back into the habit of just eating everything all the time and snacking a lot so I really struggled this week. I did a food diary all week and tracked my syns – even when I went massively over! I only managed to stay within my syn allowance on 1 day this week…oops.
Last Weeks Weight: 16st 11lb (235 pounds)
This Weeks Weight: 16st 9.5lb (233.5 pounds)
Loss to Date: 2 pounds
To Lose for 6 week Goal: 13.5 pounds (By 10.10.15)
I wasn’t expecting a 1.5 pounds loss this week. quite pleased with it, so I’m feeling more positive about being back on plan and keeping up with it – all down to the meal planning! I’ve discovered a few very interesting looking recipes on the SW website, so I’ll be aiming to give some of those a go soon too. Especially the desserts!!
Goal for Next Week: 16st 7lb (231 pounds)
Have a good week…
7 weeks on slimming world. I still feel like a complete newbie…
Last Weeks Weight: 15st 13lb (223 Pounds)
This Weeks Weight: 15st 13lb (223 Pounds)
Weight Loss To Date: 12.5 pounds
I maintained this week. To be honest – I’m pleased with that as I thought I would gain!! Haven’t been particularly good this week, but clearly I wasn’t as bad as I thought I was…so I’m taking it as a positive. I was having a think, and I know that I did better with slimming world when I planned meals in advance, so I’m going to start doing that again instead of grabbing food on the go!
By last week I had wanted to have reached my Club 10 Goal, however I did not reach it. This affects the rest of my targets…So here’s some adjusted ones!
Goal 1: 15st 6lb by 05.08.15 (216 pounds)
Goal 2: Club 10 Goal by 10.09.15 (211.5 Pounds)
Goal 3: 14st 8lb by 01.10.15 (204.5 pounds)
I have 2 week to reach goal 1, so I need to lose 7 pounds in that time frame. Possible – especially if I plan in loads of speed foods!
Here’s to a good week…
